Neighborhoods Around Chattanooga

St. Elmo

Artsy bungalows, sidewalks, and wraparound front porches galore! Near Lookout Mountain with trails and even a waterfall nearby. 10 minutes from downtown. Awesome updated kids’ park.


South Broad Area

Found in between St. Elmo and the Southside, this area is located near the Riverwalk, the new Lookouts baseball stadium, and a quick drive to Southside restaurants and pubs. Newer homes and condos with picturesque views of Lookout Mountain.


The Southside

Lots of great restaurants, pubs, and shops near bustling areas like Main Street and downtown. Ideal for families with Jefferson Park and the Sculpture Fields nearby. Attractions include Finley Stadium and Chattanooga Market. Lots of character with a mix of newer and older homes.


Riverview & North Chattanooga

Close to dining, shops, parks, and there are some great properties with river views in the Riverview area. Heritage Landing

Tucked between Frazier Avenue, GPS, and Riverview and on the edge of Coolidge Park, this is a great family-friendly gated community. Offers amenities like a swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and views of ponds and the Tennessee River.


Stuart Heights

Convenient, central location, 8 mins from shopping and dining, and located in between North Chattanooga and Hixson. Zoned for Rivermont School’s STEAM program. Quaint, character-filled neighborhoods with mature trees.


Signal Mountain

Family-friendly with some properties featuring valley views. Repeatedly ranked among Tennessee’s best places to live with award-winning schools. Nearby trails, brow views, and only 20 minutes from downtown. This area is also typically cooler in the summer and offers spectacular Fall colors.


Highland Park

Near hospitals, the Southside, and Downtown. A vibrant and diverse community with lots of beautiful historic homes and views of Missionary Ridge.


Missionary Ridge

This brow neighborhood boasts a rich Civil War history, stunning ridge-top views, and is dotted with century-old mansions. Offers convenient access to hospitals, downtown, and Brainerd shopping and dining.


Lookout Mountain

Scenic community with historic homes, many with large yards. Lots of opportunities for outdoor rec with hiking trails, rock climbing, and hang gliding. Awesome brow views of the Tennessee River, downtown, St. Elmo, or Lookout Valley. Nearby Cloudland Canyon State Park’s waterfalls. Attractions like Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, Point Park, and the Nature Center down below. Typically cooler in the summer months.


Black Creek Neighborhood

Black Creek features scenic mountain views, a championship golf course, upscale homes, and tons of family-friendly amenities like swimming pools, fishing ponds, walking trails, dog park, gym, restaurant, and more! Offering a peaceful, luxurious lifestyle just 10 minutes from downtown and outdoor activities on Lookout Mountain.


Highway 58 / Bonny Oaks Area

The Highway 58 area offers a blend of suburban and rural living, with newer homes and convenient access to lakes, parks, camping, shopping, and schools, creating a balanced, family-friendly community.


Hixson
