- McKamey Animal Center will host their ” St. Pawtrick’s Day Adoption Event where they will waive adoption fees for all dogs weighing 17 pounds or more. Happening this Friday, March 17th – Sunday, March 19th!

- Hamilton County residents can now call 211 for permanent housing needs. United Way call center will now handle requests which will help people actively experiencing homelessness to find permanent housing.
- Unum, a Chattanooga-based insurance company, just celebrated their 175th birthday, making it one of Chattanooga’s oldest operating businesses. In celebration, employees bagged ~1,000 snack packs for the Y-Community Action Program benefitting food-needy children as well as hygiene kits for the Community Kitchen.
- Chattanooga Whiskey was named the Craft Producer of the Year at the 2023 Icons of Whisky Awards.
- TastingTable.com, a global culinary guide, names Rembrandt’s Coffee House best coffee shop in Tennessee for its European charm and fresh menu!
- The Crash Pad (An Uncommon Hostel) has been nominated for the “Eco-Warrior” HOSCARs award in Hostelworld’s international competition.
